The old railway line of Lavrion was constructed back in 1885 and connected Athens with Kifissia and Lavrion. The railway line contributed to the development of Mesogaia because it was used not only for people but also for the quicker and safer transport of local products. Its operation stopped in 1957 but some of the old stations as well as the Locomotive named “The Beast” are still here waiting for us to explore their story!  During this unique culinary experience, we visit three old train stations, we pop in The Beast and we meet local people and producers who share their memories and insights with us.
